Newcastle United sign Merino loan.

Newcastle United have signed Spanish midfielder Mikel Merino on a season-long loan deal from Borussia Dortmund, the young spaniard in under 21's European championship in june where is native Spain lost to Germany in the final. The spaniard will link up with Spanish manager Rafa Benitez. Merino made 50 appearances for Spanish side Osasuna, before moving to Dortmund last summer, however he only played nine times for the German club.He becomes the newly promoted Premier League side's fifth signing this summer, Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez had this to say"He was signed as a young talented player and to be signed by a club like Dortmund shows that he has something good."
